xcstrings-crud

Overview

xcstrings-crud by Ryu0118 is a CLI tool and MCP server for creating, reading, updating and deleting entries in xcstrings String Catalog files. Large catalogues can hold thousands of keys across many languages, and this lets an agent work on them precisely without loading the whole file. It can also check for untranslated entries in CI or agent hooks.

Install

1. Install with mise

Example

Run xcstrings-crud list untranslated --file path/to/Localizable.xcstrings --lang ja to see which keys still need Japanese translations.
