Overview
Mobile MCP from Mobile Next is an MCP server for automating mobile apps on iOS and Android, across simulators, emulators and real devices. It drives apps through the native accessibility tree, falling back to screenshots and coordinates only when needed, which keeps it fast and cheap. You describe the goal and the agent does the work, with no XCUITest or Espresso code.
Features
- One set of tools for iOS and Android simulators, emulators and real devices
- Accessibility-first interaction without a vision model
- Taps, swipes, gestures and typing
- Installs, launches and terminates apps, and records the screen
- Collects device logs and crash reports
- Optional remote devices through Mobile Next Cloud
Requirements
- Xcode command line tools
- Android Platform Tools
- Node.js 20 or later
- For real iOS devices: connected over USB and trusted
Install
Add the standard config to your MCP client
{ "mcpServers": { "mobile-mcp": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@mobilenext/mobile-mcp@latest"] } } }
Example
Ask your agent to open your app on a booted iPhone simulator, walk through the sign-up flow and report any screen where it got stuck.
