Overview
SimUtil gathers everyday tasks for Android emulators, iOS simulators and real devices into one desktop app and a command-line tool. You can launch, stream, control, record, test and clean up devices without opening Android Studio or Xcode. The desktop app includes an MCP server so AI agents can drive the devices.
Features
- SimUtil Desktop streams and controls many devices side by side, including real iPhones and iPads
- Records devices and runs scenarios across them
- simutil CLI lists, launches, shuts down, wipes and deletes devices, with JSON output for agents
- Connects Android devices over Wi-Fi and reads Logcat
- Plugins wire in tools such as scrcpy and Maestro
- MCP server for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and VS Code
Requirements
- macOS with Xcode for iOS simulators and devices
- Linux and Windows hosts support Android only
