Overview
shipstores is an MCP server that drives App Store Connect and Google Play Console from start to finish. Claude or another MCP client can upload builds, update store listings and screenshots, fill in privacy labels, submit for review and reply to App Review. The author built it because publishing was the slowest part of shipping an app.
Features
- 60 tools across both stores, plus diagnostics
- Uploads builds, creates versions, attaches builds and submits or resubmits for review
- Updates listings and uploads screenshots
- Sends TestFlight invites
- Works with Expo EAS builds
- Optional console features for privacy labels and App Review replies through a logged-in browser profile
Requirements
- Python 3.12 or later and uv
- An App Store Connect API key and/or a Google Play service account
- Xcode command line tools for iOS uploads
Install
Add it to Claude Code (uvx fetches it from PyPI)
claude mcp add shipstores \ -e ASC_KEY_ID=ABC123XYZ \ -e ASC_ISSUER_ID=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 \ -e ASC_PRIVATE_KEY_PATH=~/.config/shipstores/AuthKey_ABC123XYZ.p8 \ -e PLAY_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_PATH=~/.config/shipstores/play-service-account.json \ -- uvx shipstores
Example
Ask Claude to take your latest EAS build to "Waiting for Review" on both stores.
