Overview
An MCP server built on Appium's appium-ios-simulator library that lets Claude Desktop and other MCP clients control iOS simulators over stdio. It can boot and shut down simulators, install and launch apps, take screenshots and tap the screen. It's for developers who want an assistant to manage simulators directly.
Features
- Boots and shuts down simulators, and manages simulator sessions
- Installs and launches apps
- Takes screenshots and taps at coordinates
- Supports several simulator sessions at once
- Direct tools by simulator UDID, or a session-based layer
- File-based logging
Requirements
- macOS
- Xcode with iOS simulators
- Node.js 16 or later
- TypeScript 4.5 or later
