Overview
manzanas is a Mac daemon for running iOS simulators shared by several AI agents, or humans, at once. Agents lease a simulator, run a YAML spec of actions and get back an evidence report, so they do not get in each other's way. It also supports fleets across several Macs, physical iPhones and mirroring as optional extras.
Features
- Leases simulators so parallel agents never share one by accident
- Runs declarative YAML specs, such as typing into fields and tapping buttons, and writes PR-ready Markdown evidence
- Keeps a warm pool, golden images and an exportable run journal
- Thin cross-platform clients: a CLI, an MCP server and SDKs
- Mock mode lets you try the whole loop without a Mac
- Physical iPhones through WebDriverAgent
Requirements
- A Mac with Xcode for real simulators (mock mode runs anywhere)
Install
Download the binary and run the setup check
npx manzanasd-client@latest doctorPoint your agent's MCP config at manzanas mcp
Example
Write a short YAML spec that signs in to your app and waits for a welcome message, then run manzanas run hello.yaml -o evidence.md and attach the result to your pull request.
