Overview
Apple RAG MCP is a hosted MCP server that answers questions from Apple developer documentation and video transcripts, including WWDC26. It combines keyword and semantic search, then uses Jev, a decision model, to rank results and pick the most relevant sources. The source is open for inspection and self-hosting, but most people will use the hosted service.
Features
- Hybrid keyword and semantic search over Apple documentation
- Covers iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27 and visionOS 27 docs
- Includes full transcripts of Apple Developer and WWDC26 videos
- Returns code examples in Swift, Objective-C and SwiftUI
- Connects over Streamable HTTP with optional authentication
Requirements
- An MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP
- Free use without an account is limited to 30 tool calls a week; an account at apple-rag.com raises this
