Overview
Apple Docs MCP is an MCP server that searches and reads Apple Developer Documentation through Apple's JSON API. As well as API docs, it covers framework indexes, technology overviews, sample code and WWDC videos with transcripts. It suits developers who want their agent to look things up across Apple's whole documentation set.
Features
- Searches documentation for SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation, Core Data, ARKit and other frameworks
- Browses framework API structures across iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS
- Finds related APIs, references and platform availability
- Lists beta frameworks and recent documentation updates
- Searches WWDC sessions and shows details and transcripts
- Finds Apple sample code projects
Requirements
- Node.js (runs through npx, or install globally with npm or pnpm)
