Overview

An MCP server, published on npm as asc-mcp, that connects AI assistants to the App Store Connect API. It has dedicated tools for common release tasks and a general tool that the project says can call any of the API's 1,303 operations. It's for developers who want to manage submissions, metadata and TestFlight from their agent.

Features

  • Calls any App Store Connect API operation through asc_api_request, checked against Apple's OpenAPI spec
  • Searches and describes API operations so the agent can find the right one
  • Edits version metadata, attaches builds, sets App Review details and submits for review
  • Handles phased and manual release and export compliance
  • Manages categories, age ratings, localisations and custom EULAs
  • Includes TestFlight beta testing tools

Requirements

  • An App Store Connect API key (Key ID, Issuer ID and .p8 file); Admin or App Manager role recommended
  • Node.js (runs through npx)

Install

  1. Add it to your MCP client with your credentials

          }
        }
      }
    }
  2. Restart the client; npx picks up new releases on each restart
