Overview
Swift Security Expert is an agent skill for secure credential storage and cryptography on Apple platforms. The author notes that AI assistants often get Apple security code wrong, for example storing secrets in UserDefaults. It supplies verified patterns and Apple-documented behaviour across fourteen client-side security areas.
Features
- Keychain basics, item classes, access control and sharing
- Biometric authentication with LAContext
- Secure Enclave and CryptoKit symmetric and public key cryptography
- Credential storage patterns and certificate trust
- Migrating secrets out of UserDefaults or plists
- Common AI-generated anti-patterns and OWASP MASVS mapping
