Overview

An agent skill that runs a one-off audit of an iOS or macOS Swift codebase and writes the results to a single CODE_AUDIT.md file. Findings are graded by severity and cite file and line, so you can triage them and refer to them in issues or pull requests. It only reads your code and doesn't change it.

Features

  • Executive summary of the 5 to 10 highest-impact findings
  • Quick wins that take 30 minutes or less
  • Swift 6 concurrency issues tied to real compiler warnings
  • Deprecated APIs and modern replacements at your deployment target
  • Bugs such as force unwraps, missing auth handling and retain cycles, plus dead code, security and performance
  • Delegates SwiftUI review to swiftui-expert-skill

Requirements

  • Xcode's built-in MCP server (recommended) for structured compiler warnings
  • swiftui-expert-skill if your project uses SwiftUI

Install

  1. Install with the skills CLI

npx skills add https://github.com/jazzychad/ios-code-audit --skill ios-code-audit
  2. Or install into a single project

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && git clone https://github.com/jazzychad/ios-code-audit .claude/skills/ios-code-audit

Example

Open Claude Code in your project root and say "Run a code audit" or run /ios-code-audit; the report is written to CODE_AUDIT.md.

Works with

Claude CodeCursorCodex
