Overview
A Claude Code plugin by Kyle Hughes for building, testing and archiving Swift packages and Xcode projects. It adds an agent skill with reference material on Apple's build tools, and a builder subagent that runs builds and reports back. Because the subagent handles the logs, your main agent's context stays clean.
Features
- Agent skill with reference tables for xcodebuild, swift, simctl, devicectl and other xcrun tools
- Builder subagent that discovers project structure and constructs the right commands
- Reports build and test results without dumping full logs into the main conversation
- Both parts can be triggered automatically or asked for by name
Requirements
- Claude Code
Install
Add the marketplace and install the plugin
/plugin marketplace add kylehughes/apple-platform-build-tools-claude-code-plugin /plugin install apple-platform-build-tools@apple-platform-build-tools-claude-code-pluginOr enable it for a whole team in .claude/settings.json, or copy the files from the skills and agents folders by hand
Example
Ask Claude Code to have the builder subagent run your test suite; it returns a short pass or fail summary instead of the full xcodebuild output.
