Overview
App Store Preflight is an agent skill that checks an iOS or macOS project for common causes of App Store rejection before you submit. It scans the Xcode project, source code, metadata and configuration files against Apple's review guidelines. It's for developers who want to catch problems early or recover from a rejection.
Features
- Indexes more than 100 App Store Review Guidelines, with checklists by app type
- Pulls App Store metadata with the asc CLI for inspection
- Rule sets for metadata, subscriptions, privacy, design and entitlements
- Each rule lists what to check, how to detect it and how to fix it
- You can add your own rules as Markdown files
Requirements
- asc CLI (brew install asc)
- ASC CLI Skills (app-store-connect-cli-skills) for asc usage patterns
- jq is optional, used by some examples
Install
Install with the skills CLI

Example
Before submitting a subscription app, ask your agent to run a preflight check; it loads the checklist for your app type, pulls your metadata with asc and flags issues such as missing terms of service or unused entitlements.
